Home Fitness Routine - The Pushup

So we all know not many people have time to go to the gym everyday, but we do have 15 minutes everyday to do Home Fitness Exercises.  There are many exercises you can do in the comfort of your home.  No need to pay a big gym membership to workout in front of complete strangers, who wants to do that, not me.

We are going to talk about oneof the top best exercises you can do at home, and why it will benefit you greatly.  This exercise is the traditional Pushup.  Yes you are thinking this is so traditional don’t we need an expensive “home gym” that Chuck Norris uses?  No we do not, that is just flamboyant stuff.

A pushup is normally started with the toes of the feet on the ground and the arms extended in a locked position.  This can be modified if a regular pushup is too difficult to where the knees are the ground point and not the toes of the feet.  The person doing hte home fitness exercise pushup then lowers there body as to try and kiss the ground and then “pushes” back upwards so their arms are then in a locked position.

You should do 3 sets of as many as you can every ten minutes.  So if you can do 5 then every ten minutes do 5 pushup, and make sure you get your heart rate up that is a very good thing when working out at home.  This pushup exercise will take less than 2 minutes of your day to do.

I suggest getting a Yoga type mat that is comfortable for your hands or your rug at home will work just fine also.  The idea of the pushup and why it is so good for you is not that it bulks you up and ads muscle mass.  It does nothing like that.

The pushup makes the muscles that you do have, stronger, a lot stronger.  It burns the fat away because the muscle needs energy to do such exercises so it burns that fat right off.  That is what we want, a less fatty, more toned body and that is why the pushup is one of the best home fitness routine you can do.
